For the most part our intentions sometimes do not match with our actions. For me this is something I struggle with often. In my mind, I have the best intentions, but somehow my actions may not prove the same. This can result, people feeling a certain type of way or having the wrong impression. Lately, I have been praying that my intentions are aligned with my actions.
Many of us intend to do things, but then we get caught up and not doing it. Things change. Your intentions do not mean much if the person does not know. Not everyone is a mind-reader or care about your words. The only thing you have to offer is your actions and hopefully they match with your intention.
Perhaps we are second guessing the decisions we make in our mind. I think some people get caught up because they are looking out for their selves and just happen to not tell that person. For example, if one was to say “I didn’t mean to hurt you”. They really didn’t mean to hurt you, they just had to look out for themselves. We can not get mad we all do it.
We all have good intentions, but sometimes our actions are just horrible. We have to do better. Maybe that comes to communicating honestly with ourselves on what we want to offer to others.
Your actions are beyond powerful.
