It's Okay to not be Okay.

November 13, 2017 by Ma'Sheka Thomas in Tips

It’s okay to not be okay. I think this is so vital. People think that if you cry, you’re being weak. Or you have to always be happy. Unrealistic expectations that no one can meet.

Not everyone is always happy, you never know what people do behind closed doors. Whenever you’re down just simply pray.

No you don’t always have to be happy. You can be sad. Everything in life will not always be good and that’s okay. Whatever you feel, feel it.

Today, people act like you’re not entitled to feel or there should be an explanation for your feelings. Well, you don’t need to have one. We all go through things we just have to grow through it.

Don’t wait to feel because, then you will explode. If you need to cry, cry.

More than often if you are super busy and haven’t attended to your own needs, you can be unaware of how you are feeling. Once you get this time to yourself, take a bubble bath and relax your mind.

Remember, it’s okay to not be okay. It happens to everyone, and it’s okay.
